Flavors of Japanese Chocolates

Mochi cream is a dessert made from sticky rice that is originally from Japan and now an internationally popular.
Japanese sweets called “daifuku” and “manju” are made with mochi and sweet beans paste and very common desserts.
There are various sweets in Japan involve with this famous mochi, even with chocolates.
I know those two foods doesn’t link together, but just you wait and see.

As you can probably already guess from its color, those two flavors above are matcha(green tea) on the left and kinako(soy flour) on the right.
Mochi texture gummis are inside of a little square shaped chocolates.
Individually wrapped in foil and plastic for maximum freshness, so you don’t even have to worry about melting in your hand.

Even better news is that these are available at 100 yen stores. How reasonable they are.

A slightly bitter green tea flavor and chocolate are irresistible.
This green square matcha chocolates are covered with matcha powder. Delicious.

This kinako(soy flour) flavored chocolate is almost taste like warabi mochi, but more chocolatey.
I was once addicted to this kinako flavored chocolates so much that I always kept a few of these in my bag at all time.

I recommend to try these Japanese chocolates once and hope you like them.
