I found a beautiful garden in Tokyo called the Ukima Park!
This garden was built in 1967, and it is not a normal Japanese park like we would see everyday, but this garden has an essence of Dutch influence to it.
It is located just beside the Ukima Funado Station (JR Saikyo Line).
That is the Ukima Pond and the Ukima Windmill.
40% of the garden’s area is covered by the pond, and the windmill stands at the heart of it.
The windmill was built as a symbol of this park, and it is especially beautiful when you see the reflections of the windmill on the pond.
Beside the windmill, if you come during spring, you can see a row of beautiful cherry blossoms along the street.
The garden also has a lot of facilities including the baseball field and playgrounds.
