So I went on a イチゴ狩り (ichigo gari) event on February.
イチゴ - ichigo, means strawberry,
狩り - gari, means hunting.
No, you don’t bring guns and shoot wild strawberries, by hunting, it means to find a good strawberry, pick it up and eat it, right on the spot.
Some friends of mine and I went here with a bus.
The strawberry house is located in Kamogawa City, Chiba Pref. (Kanto Area), a green house called みんなみの里 (minnami no sato).
When you go hunting in a group you need to make a reservation before.

You will also be given a cherry tomato and a small plastic box filled with condensed milk!
You should eat it (the tomato) before start eating the strawberries.

It’s said on the website that the strawberries are 女峰 (nyohou) and 章姫 (akihime) strawberry from Shizuoka Pref.
You can enjoy picking and eating these beautiful strawberries, for the next 30 minutes.

But you can’t go out and eat outside, you have to eat them inside the green house.
The greenhouse was kinda hot, so make sure you wear a suitable outfits.
Wouldn’t recommend a winter jacket or something like that.
About the plastic box I mentioned earlier, you can dip your fresh-picked strawberries into the condensed milk.
