Once upon a time deep in the mountains, there lived a boy named Kintaro.
Kintaro always played with rabbits, raccoon dogs, deer and bears because no other families lived in his neighborhood.
He was a healthy, strong boy and loved to wrestle with the bears.

"I will go to the capital city when I grow up and will be a fine samurai warrior."
Kintaro always said. To become a samurai, he practiced horseback riding on a bear.

"Being strong is not enough, Kintaro. You should study hard also if you want to be a samurai."
Said his mother and Kintaro did as he was told.

he headed to the capital.

Suddenly a giant devil jumped out and grabbed the princess out from the carriage.

shouted Kintaro, stabbing at the devil.

The next moment, Kintaro held up the devil and threw it to the ground.

"Forgive me, please, forgive me. I'll never attack people again."

The devil begged Kintaro.
