Did you know you can enjoy halal chinese food in Tokyo?
Just head to Kinshicho in eastern Tokyo just few stops from Tokyo Sky Tree, Ryogoku and Akihabara!

Let’s have a look!
Tokyo Muslim Chinese Restaurant is located less than 5 minutes walking from Kinshicho station.
The restaurant offers a large variety of halal certified chinese dishes like dumplings, hot stew and soups, fish or meat stir-fry with vegetables but also tofu or eggs.
There is also a lot of mutton dishes in the menu, a meat which is quite unusual in Japan.
I choose some steamed rice mixed with mutton and vegetables, which are cooked in an iron pot and served directly on the table.
A delicious smell came when opening the lid!
So delicious! It tastes like a Japanese steamed rice using mutton.
The rice from the bottom of the pot slowly become crispy.
The restaurant is quite big and welcome everyone.
Since most halal restaurants in Tokyo are Pakistani curry or turkish restaurants, it could be a nice alternative.
