I went inside a store of handmade Japanese crafts and I saw something mysterious that will remain memories to every Japanese person.
Can you identify which one?
Those boxes made of wood and fabric are shaped like smaller versions of “Tobibako”.
“Tobibako” or vaulting horse in English, is an equipment use in physical education class in every Japanese school.
Students have to run and jump above the boxe spreading their legs wide apart.
You might have seen this in manga, animes, or dramas.
It’s possible to adapt the size of the box to children size.
Those small versions are handmade and could be used to store small items for school nostalgic people.
It’s possible to use the big version to sit or play.
It’s a very fun and nice quite a nice item!
Do you have the same exercise in sport class in your country?
