Hallo, Hacchi here, this time I am in Yogyakarta and recently I found a interesting cafe that located hidden in back one of University in Yogyakarta. The name café is MatchaMu, yup …there is a word “Matcha” in café name, the name that we are known to be green tea, which was known in Japan. Interesting right!
From the entrance café is quite simple, like a other café but the different is have a eco green and relax atmosphere, next inside the café again it have a eco green and relax atmosphere, cool air because almost part of café have been design from wood and have plant for their decoration. Cool, nice, and ECO.
Next is the menu, almost the menu in drink section is using Matcha for the drink based. The unique one is the mix matcha, that will make you interesting to try one by one. Not just a drink if you can see more detail it have matcha parfait for desert and matcha oat in bowl, again quite interesting to try. For the meal the café using word dip-ping meal (a meal that based sauce, cream, and soup) with many side dish like french friesh and rice.
Because I just found this café recently so this is my first visit. So I will order something that I want to try for a long time, there is a high grade matcha in section drink colums tea speciality and green curry as meal.
After waiting, At last my order is coming the first one come is the matcha with ice because right now is quite hot, the matcha taste is quite bitter than the matcha I usually tastes but the surprise part is easy to drink and comfortably in the throat. Next the meal that I order I come, the green curry. The look the green curry is the think that you all think is all green. The taste is surprise me to because is delicious, the broth is not heavy to eat because the staff say they use all green vegetable to cook the curry…healthy and the chicken is perfect match for the broth this green curry.
Cool place and had healthy food. I really found a good café and if coming again maybe I will try the parfait matcha.
