Today we are going to introduce some interested words in Japanese, which different kanji are used for the same pronunciation. Atsui (熱い・暑い) is one of them. You can notice that the pronunciation is the same as earlier, but the kanjis are different.

Atsui (熱い) is meaning hot to the touch . When you touch somethings very hot, you could say "Atsui desu" in Japanese. Atsui (熱い) be used for when speaking about objects, again especially about food and drinks. Atsui (暑い) is used when you talk about climate. You can think about it as "too warm".
