Among the most popular shopping destinations for tourists, Tokyu Hands is always on the top 3.

Located all around Japan and Tokyo, Tokyu Hands is a huge store selling everything from basically DIY, hobby, crafts, gardening, stationary but also party goods, bicycles, cosmetics or kitchen goods and so on.

Let’s have a look to the Shinjuku store.

Just go out from Shinjuku station south exit and go to the “Southern Terrace”.

Tokyu Hands is located in the huge Time Square building with the department store Takashimaya.

Tokyu Hands in Shinjuku has 9 floors!

First one is dedicated to bicycle and luggages.

On the second floor, there are tons of cosmetics and seasonal goods for health or beauty.

Since it is summer, how about some refreshing scarves?
Just put them in the fridge or cooler to cool the gel pocket inside.

Polar bear packagings are quite cute!

Magic scarf to wear also as a hat.

Small fans attached to water sprays. The cheapest air conditioning!

Wow! Portable necklace fan!

There are traditional Japanese goods as well like the cute tenugui: small cotton clothes used like towel, handkerchiefs, scarves or headbands.

I like the model with the retro phone.

Cute pink rabbits:

A tenugui with a feet and a comb!

Below you can see that it is possible to make a tissue box cover just by folding a tenugui.

Here is a cute eye shadow pack made with “washi” traditional Japanese paper.

Very nice as a souvenir or to make a gift!

Bath salts for summer. There are hundreds of different bath salts in Tokyu Hands.

Soap sheets in small boxes. Perfect for when you need to wash your hands outside or in a place with no soap.

It’s very popular among mothers and children.

A lavender scented one. The animals designed on the packet makes it look all the more cuter!

On upper floors, you can find DIY and craft floors with tools, materials, wood, plastic, cable, bathroom pipe, you name it.

Stationery and art floors have hundreds of pens, paper, tools for manga artists, etc…

There are small artists exhibitions or workshops as well.

Postcards, birthday cards, envelope, there’s everything!

Cute fans for summer to offer as a gift:

If you are looking for anything cool or for a souvenir, you’ll probably find something nice in Tokyu Hands!
