Moriichi is a small franchised Kaiten Sushi restaurant in east side of Tokyo. Unlike other Kaiten Sushi places that machine makes rice “shari”, the rice cake beneath sashimi, their shari is made by sushi chefs, not by machine. Another thing that is good here is that they are so cheap. All sushi is 150 yen per plate. Additionally, they serve sushi for 120 per plate if you go there before 1pm. They open from 11am though prepare to get there earlier since they usually have a long line.

Uobei is a franchised Kaiten Sushi restaurant and they have branches all over Japan. What they are interesting is that if you don’t see what you want on the belt, you can order your favorite piece from the touch screen placed on a table and your sushi is brought by a racing car. Also their sushi is 108 yen per plate thus you should go their with the empty stomach.

Uogashi Nihonichi Tachiguisushi

Tachiguisushi is another franchised sushi place. This place is not actually a Kaiten Sushi restaurant but a standing style sushi bar. Sushi is sold by piece and 75 yen per piece. It is too cheap that you might be doubt if they serve fresh sushi though their fish are fresh that they provide fish from Tsukiji fish market.

CHOJIRO is a Kaiten Sushi restaurant originated in Kyoto. They are more sophisticated comparing with others and many of sushi is a bit pricy comparing with other Kaiten Sushi places though what they are good is the atmosphere they have in their restaurants. They designed this place to be looked as if you came into a high-end Japanese restaurant and you feel the traditioin out of this place,

Katsu is a Kaiten Sushi franchised restaurant owned by minori-sushi, a popular franchised sushi restaurant. Since they are owned by them, they serve fresh sushi in affordable price. Thus they usually have a long line to get in and you might have to wait for an hour though it is so worth to be on the line and enjoy their sushi if you have a plenty of time.
