Do you know what Japanese say as コンビニエンスストア(read: konbiniensu sutoa), often shortened to konbini. Yeah, it’s convenience store.
In Indonesia, Jakarta especially there are tons of convenience stores throughout Jakarta. Do you know that there is convenience store that originally coming from Japan? Named LAWSON.
It’s very first store opened in Jakarta at 2011 and now it has many store already ^_^
I love Lawson since beside small retail business that stocks a range of everyday items such as groceries, snack foods, candy, toiletries,soft drinks, tobacco products, magazines, etc. It also serves food that in my opinion close to Japanese konbini.
That Chicken Mayo Rice is my favorite ^_^
Too bad all onigiri are sold already. I love Onigiri Salmon Flakes.
I had been to Japan before and i have eaten Onigiri in Lawson in Kyoto. Suprisingly it tastes almost same, i can say 90% same and the 10% different because i ate it in Japan LOL.
Beside that i often come to this Lawson that located in Matraman since it is located near my neighborhood. So i buy my favorite snack here.

This is my favorite snack that i often buy in Lawson. I find this poporon stuff is really nice,it has no MSG and i have ever visited their factory. Everything are hygienic.
OK please forget what i said before since i love poporon because it’s tasty. That’s all ^_^
It’s like mini cream puff with high quality chocolate that melt inside the mouth. Really love it and it’s very light snack except the chocolate LOL.
I guess you can tell what chocolate they use. More importantly, i like something salty but poporon can actually make me addicted to it.
Oishi katta desu. I want another poporon now.

Lawson x Fun! Japan
Actually you can find it on another konbini and it’s slightly more expensive in lawson.
However i must buy it in Lawson (haha...) because i’m after Lawson x Fun! Japan Visit Japan stamp and Fun! Japan point. It’s totally worth it anyway.
And by using Ponta card you can double the benefit. It also can be used in all alfa midi group to collect more points.

On my next visit, i will definetely try this capsule station machine of course. I just wish it has more variety like anime character key chains, etc.
Not many store has this machine and so it’s not really popular. However i often see this in anime and dorama. It looks interesting to collect it.
Mina-san, what are you waiting for? Let’s go to konbini!
