I live in a small city in Indonesia at Serang, Banten Province. I try to tell about Japanese Restaurant in this city. But in here there is no Japanese Restaurant that recommended and I think just HokBen that most recommended.
Maybe so mainstream if I talk about this restaurant because HokBen has spread around the various cities in Indonesia and many people know it. But do you know HokBen is The Biggest Japanese Fast Food in Indonesia?
For the first, let me to explain about simple history of HokBen. In the past, the name of HokBen is Hoka Hoka Bento. Hoka Hoka Bento is franchise fast food restaurant that serves Japanese Foods. This restaurant established in Jakarta on 18 April 1985 by Hendra Arifin, under lisence of a private company PT Eka Bogainti and the first restaurant is located at Kebon Kacang, Central of Jakarta. Five years later, Hoka Hoka Bento opened first restaurant in Bandung, West Java. In 2013, Hoka Hoka Bento transformed into a now name HokBen. Nowadays, HokBen has 147 restaurants that spread in Java and Bali Island. HokBen serves variatif, hygienic and relative cheaper price foods. So, that is make HokBen as a biggest Japanese Fast Food restaurant concept in Indonesia. Eventhough serves Japanese Fast Food, 100% brand of HokBen owned by Indonesian Citizen.

Now, The Office Center of HokBen at Raya Poncol Street 2, Ciracas East Jakarta. In Serang, HokBen was established in 2011.
HokBen serves many varians of Japanese Fast Foods but the way to serves not like another Fast Food Restaurant in general. The outlet in this restaurant arranged like café buffet where customers move along buffet table while order foods and beverages or desserts.
At HokBen you can order and eat one or simple set menu Japanese Fast Food. Japanese Fast Food that served has been adapted with Indonesian taste and also HokBen absolutely get Halal Label from Majelis Ulama Indonesia.
