STANDING SUSHI BAR

Fresh sushi is THE most famous food that represents Japan.

It might be known as a classic and expensive dish that is eaten on special occasions, but it actually depends on where you eat at.

There are many sushi restaurant that you can enjoy at a reasonable price like conveyor belt sushi called kaiten sushi restaurant.

The sushi we know now was actually called ‘haya-zushi’(means quick sushi) because literally it was ready and eaten quickly like a fast food.

If you are running out of time, but want to make a quick stop to grab a bite, you should definitely consider sushi as one of your options.

I was always curious about this standing sushi bar located inside Shinagawa station.

Shinagawa station is one of the major train stations in Tokyo that nearly 10 different lines connect to, and also only a few stops away from Haneda Airport.

It is very convenient to access to wherever you are going.

During rush hours, it gets chaotic with a huge crowd of people like businessmen and tourists with a big suitcase.

This sushi stand is always packed no matter what time it is.

I decided to try to go in there for the first time.

Even though it was overly crowded outside, once you walk in, it makes you feel like you are in a totally different place all the sudden.

You are now officially in a sushi bar!

As soon as I stood in front of the counter, I ordered a few of my favorites.

Salmon eggs, tuna, salmon, and egg.

Everything was just so delicious.

No complain.

There were a group of people from Singapore standing next to me enjoying bites of sushi before checking in a hotel near by.

They said it is their third time visiting Tokyo, and they always make a quick stop to Shinagawa for this sushi.

English menu is available so they don’t have a hard time ordering.

I definitely recommend you stop by here if you come to Tokyo!
