Popular Japanese coffee and cake shop chain Saint Marc Café

 

Since it’s a cheap chain store, don’t hesitate to make a break with a drink and some sweets.

Saint Marc Cafe has many seasonal drinks and an variation of their trademark sweet : Chococro, a small croissant pastry filled with chocolate.

Here is the seasonal August menu, strawberry-banana smoothie and fruits-vegetables smoothie for the drinks and a Chococro with white chocolate flavored with milk and salt.

You can also be some as take-out in a box to eat with your friends or family.


 

Last time, i had some ice-coffee and Chococro filled with green tea and chocolate.
I payed less than 500 yen for everything, with is pretty cheap in Tokyo.
Cafe space is usually very spacious and you can find a lot of people working, reading books as well.

 

The Chococro is served in a paper sleeve, very useful to avoid greasy hands, especially if you came to work in the cafe.

As you can see there’s some green tea with the chocolate.

 

You can also have some sandwiches for lunch, or a selection of bread with melted cheese or ham for example.

Excepting Chococro, Saint Marc Cafe is also appreciated for the others sweets.

Here is the second most popular thing in Saint Marc Cafe, hot danish served with ice-cream, whipped cream, and many other things like caramel sauce, sweet red bean paste, green flavored cream or fruits. It’s quite big, so don’t hesitate to share it with a friend!

 

You can find ice-creams or shaved-ice in summer too.
There’s some condensed milk, mango, green tea or strawberry flavor here.
