Hi all!

July is the season where Eel is the most popular, and we couldn’t miss this chance!

“Unagi” is commonly served as Una-ju, where grilled eel slices are serve on top of rice almost always in a very elegant box set.

The sauce is a soy based sauce with a thicker texture and a sweeter taste.
I really love Unagi and like go eat some on a big occasion or after I got my paycheck!

An overview of the menu, serving exclusively Unagi.
Unagi can be a little expensive, this restaurant offers a menu at 7,300 yen  (830k Rupiah)!

Well, this is because in fact this restaurant, called Ooedo is very popular among Unagi lovers - even Kanzaburo Nakamura, a kabuki actor who sadly recently passed, used to love this restaurant and would go often.

You can access Ooedo from the Gaienmae and Aoyama Itchome stations, respectively on the Ginza and Hanzomon lines.
