Kineya Mugimaru a new Halal restaurant opened in Narita, Tokyo international Airport on the 5th floor of terminal 1 ! It’s a noodle restaurant serving udon and soba noodles.
Great for a quick meal before jumping back on the plane, or as a first experience when getting off! We took a look.
The exterior looks very traditional, directly immersing you in the Japanese culture!
The Chochin lantern at the entrance says Udon (うどん), which you must be already familiar with if you’re a Fun Japan reader.
Let’s step in.
While the restaurant’s exterior may look traditional, once inside we were surprised to find a large screen to display the menu. All the dishes have their picture, so you don’t have any surprises once your bowl is served!

Bukkake Ondama Udon (ぶっかけ温玉うどん), looks yummy doesn’t it?
You can usually choose between cold and hot udon, today we went with the hot ones, even though Tokyo is very hot right now! Our Udon were topped with sesame grains, ginger, negi and a half-boiled egg. Delicious!
