Fall Fireworks Schedule
To see fireworks is probably the “must do” thing during summer time in Japan. Though if you miss them, don’t worry because there are some places you can still enjoy fireworks during fall. Here are the complete schedule of fireworks festivals you can still participate on in the Kanto area.
September 10th: Isesaki Fireworks Festival, Gunma

Isesaki Fireworks Festival is the first fireworks festival scheduled during fall. This one is planned to be hold on September 10th this year, at the Love River Park in Isesaki city. The fireworks there are famous for the beautiful collaboration of fireworks and music. The festival consists of six sections and each section has a themed title. About ten thousand fireworks will be shot upon the sky along with the music during the festival.
September 17th: Kamisu Fireworks Festival, Ibaraki

Second festival is Kamisu Fireworks Festival in Ibaraki Prefecture. Six thousand fireworks in total are planned to be set off by the Kamino pond. Since the fireworks will be raised up on the pond, you can see the beautiful reflection of the fireworks. There will be food vendors gathering for the festival thus it is fun to walk around and try Japanese street foods.
October 1st: Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition, Ibaraki

Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition will be held in Ibaraki. This competition is popular and considered as the best fireworks festival in Japan. This fireworks festival is, unlike other ordinary fireworks festivals, it is a competition of fireworks which fireworks craftsmen from all over Japan will compete. Thus, you can see selected great fireworks gathered and set off to the sky. In addition, after 19:00, fireworks provided by the competition will be set off all together from the several fireworks station around the space. It is very impressive to see the entire sky covered by the fireworks.
October 8th: Kounosu Fireworks Festival, Saitama

Kounosu Fireworks Festival is probably the most easy-to-access fireworks festival from Tokyo. About fifteen thousands fireworks will be set off to the sky. This firework festival is famous for the size of the last firework to close out of the festival. It is certified as the biggest firework in the world in the Guinness World Records.
October 15th: Narita Fireworks Festival, Chiba

Narita Firework Festival will be held in the close to the Narita Airport, Chiba. The fireworks is the first fireworks festivals that audiences can participate. The fireworks are set off by synchronizing with the music and beautiful as if you see a musical performance at a theater.
