Karaoke, is one of the entertainment place that you might find quite a lot in every corner of the street in Japan. Usually, people in Japan often come to karaoke with colleagues, friends, or even family.
 Maybe it looks no different to others Karaoke’s place, but this one place offer muslim’s visitors, the halal food and also the place to pray! The name of the karaoke is Manekineko Karaoke.
Manekineko Karaoke itself is actually a franchise karaoke place that you may find almost all over Japan and even in Korea. The one that offer the Muslim Friendly Karaoke is one of their franchise located in Yotsuya Sanchome. And this one place is the first karaoke place that serve halal food in Japan!


 
You can go from Tokyo station to the Yotsuya sanchome station by the Subway goes to Ikebukuro, then get off in Yotsuya Sanchome. You just have to walk less than 5 minutes from the station to get there. You will see the big sign of Manekineko Karaoke in the side of the building. Climb up to the 2nd floor and voila, there it is!

The rooms are generally divided into 2 types. Room that have many songs but without the original video, and the room that provide many songs but without the original video. My recommendation is the room with the more songs to sing, all that matter is the song itself and the lyrics, right?


 
It’s best when you already prepared the song’s list from home.
 If you already hungry after singing a lot, don’t worry, they offer some food and also snacks! You can order gyoza, ramen, karaage, kare, even pizza, all in halal certified with Local Halal Certification by Malaysia Halal Corporation. So, muslim visitors don’t have to worry anymore.

Don’t just really get into the karaoke and forget the pray time, people. For muslim, actually you can pray inside the room because there is a sign of ‘kiblat’ in the ceiling, or you can use the praying space that provides.



Sajadda are being provided, but for the Muslim woman, you have to bring your own praying cloth.

The room price itself is quite affordable as follow:

From 09:00 -  20:00 the price is 150￥for every 30 minutes.
From 20:00 - 06:00 the price is 300-350￥for every 30 minutes.

If it is the first time you visit the place, there is a special offer for you! It’s 0￥for 1- 2 hours to rent the room, the inquiry is you just have to order at least 1 drinks (for the price of 350￥/drink). And after 2 hours, you have to add the normal price as written.
