I became interested in the world after traveling through Southeast Asia during my university years, which led me to teach geography in high school When I'm abroad, I enjoy visiting local markets, homes, and schools, and spending time interacting with the local people. I am currently a father of two elementary school-aged children. I’ve recently achieved the Shogi shodan while teaching the game to my son. My hobby is breeding stag beetles, and I’m currently trying my hand at raising Prosopocoilus giraffa and Dorcus hopei binodulosus. When the beetles become adults, my motto is to 'bravely get pinched by them. In my free time, I keep up my reading blog.
