Sapporo Lilac Spring Festival

There are about 400 lilac trees. Due to its location right in the center of the city of Sapporo, it will easily get crowded.

Kawashimo Park
Having 1700 lilac trees with 200 varieties of lilac from across the globe, Kawashimo Park offers a better enjoyment if you are really into flowers, especially lilacs. The festival held here is usually short compared to the one in Odori Park. Kawashimo Park held the event for 2 days, and usually in early of June. The activities associated during the festival are mostly related to the lilacs.
